Speed Reducer gear box is simple in construction with liberal ribbing increasing heat dissipating area. Gear box is designed and made of quality close grain cast iron. Specially designed fan, vital part of the machine is effective in either direction of rotation. Alloy steel made worm and worm shafts are supported on ball or roller bearings. The worm wheel is made of special phosphorbronze. A positive lubrication system attached with the machine is operative in either direction of rotation and is also effective in any mounting position. Worm reducers are available in both universal mounting type and fixed base mounting type. Universal type worm reducer facilitates a wide range of mounting positions by changing the necessary mounting legs.
